Bringing back the wonder of sending telegrams.
A telegram took a day to arrive and people kept it in a drawer for thirty years. A text arrives in one second and you've forgotten it by lunch. This sits in the gap: a two inch e-paper on a shelf that wakes up a few times a day, checks for mail, shows one message, and goes back to sleep.
It can't buzz. It can't badge you. It can't autoplay anything. Nobody can reply to it, it's never heard of a group chat, and it'll never, ever ratio you. Useless for anything urgent. Good.

If you want one, same. I'm still building it. Email me and I'll add you to the list. The list is a text file on my laptop. jed@kinobee.io
